Withrow Gets National Recognition

SEPTEMBER 2014 – Withrow wins national recognition for its work to make sure students are ready for college.  Withrow University High School in Hyde Park is one of 33 schools from the US and Ireland to be recognized by College for Every Student, an international organization that helps underserved students get to and through college.  The organization recognizes schools that successfully implement three core practices: “Leadership through Service”,” “Mentoring” and “Pathways to College.”  CFES Program Dierector Michelle Bialeck presented Withrow faculty and students their “School of Distinction” banner during a school-wide assembly.  This is the fourth time Withrow has earned the distinction.  September 12, 2014, “The Enquirer”, p. 1. 92 years old. Don’t expect very many from my class to still be around. I debated, and did the paper and dramatics. My sister Sally, married name Brueckner, is still alive and living in suburban Cincinnati.
