Withrow Seniors Participate in a Day of Service

Recently more than 170 seniors from Withrow University High School experienced the first of what Cecelia Schroer hopes to be an annual service day. Schroer, Withrow Health teacher and Community Service advisor, said, “I want kids to realize giving to others comes from the heart, and it can be a rewarding experience.”

Withrow University Technology Drop-in Day Turns Heads by Turning Tables

DECEMBER 2014 – Instead of receiving instruction from adults, Withrow juniors and seniors drove the learning process as they demonstrated an array of cutting-edge software and other technology innovations to their teachers and parents. A heightened emphasis on educational technology is part of Cincinnati Public Schools’ new My Tomorrow initiative.

YMCA honors Withrow students

JANUARY 2013 – Several Withrow students were recently honored at the YMCA Salute Gala as YMCA Teen Achiever Scholarship recipients.  The YMCA college and career readiness program encourages teens to pursue their college and career goals with help from successful professional role models.  The program has served more than 6,000 teens.
