What a year 2020 has been! After a banner Centennial Year, 2020 will forever be remembered as the year of COVID-19 – the year that has greatly impacted, changed and transformed every life on the planet. From wearing masks to social distancing, this pandemic has definitely challenged us all.

The CPS My Tomorrow Today is a bold vision for education, which combines high expectations, technology and mentoring to prepare students for success when they graduate high school. It’s a launch pad to a brighter future for our students and our community. With My Tomorrow Today, students are readied for the real world in a very tangible way. The goal is to make sure 100 percent of all seventh graders are prepared to actively pursue their chosen career paths by the time they graduate. Through My Tomorrow Today, students are learning about themselves — their dreams, their aspirations, and their strengths. This is combined with higher expectations and greater access to technology to provide students with the skills, knowledge and confidence to pursue the pathways of their choice.
