The roaring sounds of Withrow University High School’s marching band set the pace from the beginning of the 10th annual FamiliesFORWARD Musical Arts Concert, warming up the crowd for 130 elementary students who danced, sang and played violin during the evening. In image above, Christian Strauss, left, and Jaylin Daniel play their horns. The concert, which usually occurs closer to the end of the school year, was moved to April 30 at Memorial Hall as the last major performance event before the historic hall closed for a major renovation.
June 2015 – Vince Stitzel ’59, Alumni Association President – A lot has happened over the last few months at Withrow. The Cincinnati Health Department has opened a Student Dental Clinic on the Withrow campus, which is available to Withrow and other public school students. Read More. The Alumni Assn. has contributed to several academic and cultural projects including the Student Science Fair, the Taiwan Student Exchange and a presentation by the Dance Theatre of Harlem.
