Withrow Sounds Again performances will be Thursday, May 9th at 7:30pm, and Friday, May 10th and Saturday, May 11th at 8pm. Please note that this is a change from the dates published earlier. Reserved seat tickets will go on sale Monday April 1, 2019. They may be purchased at the school or online by clicking HERE.
Tickets Prices: Adults – $20, Children 12 and under – $10; and Withrow students can buy tickets at school for $8 or online for $10.

On September 1, 60 retired Withrow staff members gathered in the Alumni Center, which most remembered as the library, to kick off a year of events the Alumni Assn. has planned to celebrate Withrow’s Centennial.
Along with socializing and reminiscing about their days at Ohio’s most beautiful public school, attendees enjoyed browsing through artifacts, lunch by Eatwell Catering, background music played by Withrow’s string ensemble, a welcome message from new principal Jerron Gray, and tours of the renovated school.
As part of producing Withrow Sounds Again, it’s necessary to make the auditorium performance ready in terms of the quality of sound and lighting. Below are recent improvements made.
All of the equipment and facilities necessary for producing stage shows, which was available in the 70’s is gone, and it’s now necessary to acquire it. For example, 2 powerful spotlights are necessary for proper stage lighting, and 2 new spot lights would cost over $35,000. However, past Stage Crew member Gary Beckstedt, Sr. ’69, now in Atlanta, has found 2 used spot lights that can be acquired for $6,000. Further, Gary has kicked off a spot light campaign with a donation of $500. Help us raise the money needed to purchase these lights while they’re still available by clicking HERE.

As part of Withrow’s Centennial Celebration during the 2018-19 school year, we’re planning a new twist on the annual retiree luncheon, and we’d like your input to help us with details.
We want everyone to be able to see the improvements in the building and around the campus, so this year’s special celebratory luncheon will be held at Withrow. Since logistics will be simpler to manage when the school isn’t filled with students, it will take place on Saturday, September 1, 2018. And… it’s our treat!
