Amir Willis - 2018

Amir's journey through Withrow is synonymous with unparalleled speed and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Graduating with the fastest 100-meter, 200-meter, and 400-meter dash times in school history, he left an indelible mark on the track. His performances shattered not only school records but also conference and city records, a testament to his extraordinary talent and dedication to the sport. A six-time 1st Team All-Conference, four-time 1st Team All-District, and four-time 1st Team All-Region athlete, Amir consistently demonstrated his dominance on the track. His achievements reached even greater heights with two-time 1st Team All-State honors and a well-deserved recognition as an All-American. Amir's excellence was not only acknowledged locally but also nationally, earning him the prestigious title of Conference Athlete of the Year and Cincinnati Enquirer Athlete of the Year. After leaving Withrow, Amir continued to shine on the collegiate stage. Attending the University of Akron on a full scholarship, he showcased his talents for three years before transferring to Florida State University. There, Amir continued to make a lasting impact in the world of track and field while earning a degree in Business.
